SDMA, Our Mission

The Stoughton Downtown Merchants Association (SDMA) is established to join together the businesses of Downtown Stoughton, Wisconsin in an effort to promote our mutual success as well as expanding the economic growth of the downtown Stoughton community. Support & promote downtown merchants through collaboration, advocacy, shared resources, and marketing that creates a vibrant downtown experience.

The mission of the SDMA is to bring awareness and collaboration to the downtown business community aiming to support and promote retail downtown businesses by holding planned events, providing friendly shopping, and creating opportunities that touch lives dedicated to everyone.

The association will preserve downtown historic beauty, market and advertise on websites and social media to promote small and large community events, create an exciting local and out of area shopping destination, and help attract & sustain new downtown and area businesses.
